Conference Decarbonization of architecture
On November 17 , the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC) and the Superior Council of Colleges of Architects of Spain (CSCAE) organize a conference on the decarbonization of architecture , designed to inform the group of architects of the challenges that decarbonization projects on professional practice.
The conference aims to promote a change of vision that allows the profession to be a determining asset in the transition towards a decarbonized society. Also propose and lead a 2026 Agenda that takes full advantage of the new instruments proposed by the draft of the new version of the European Directive on Energy Efficiency of Buildings (EPBD).
The session will serve to stage the commitment to this 2026 Agenda, a document that enables architecture professionals to lead change in tune with the main decarbonisation agendas promoted by other agents in the sector.
The day will have the participation of the MEP of the European Parliament, Marc Ros Sempere ; the general director of Urban Agenda and Architecture of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Iñaqui Carnicero ; the president of the Council of Architects of Europe (CAE), Ruth Schagemann ; the president of the CSCAE, Marta Vall-lossera , and the dean of the COAC, Guim Costa .
