On November 17th, the COAC and CSCAE organized a conference on the decarbonization of architecture, designed to inform the community of architects about the challenges that decarbonization poses to professional practice.
The conference aims to promote a change in vision that allows the profession to be a determining asset in the transition towards a decarbonized society. It also proposes to lead a 2026 Agenda that maximizes the new instruments proposed by the draft of the new version of the European Directive on Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EPBD).
Therefore, the session will serve to demonstrate commitment to this Agenda 2026, a document that allows us to lead the change and associate with the main decarbonization agendas promoted by other sector agents.
We will have the participation of the Member of the European Parliament, Marcos Ros Sempere, the Director General of Urban Agenda and Architecture of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Iñaqui Carnicero, the President of the Council of Architects of Europe (CAE), Ruth Schagemann, the President of the CSCAE, Marta Vall-Llosera, and the Dean of the COAC, Guim Costa.
