Política de cookies
At the COAC we use cookies in order to provide a better service and ensure a better browsing experience for each User on the website. To this end, we hereby inform Users clearly and precisely what a cookie is, what it is used for, what its purpose is and how to configure or disable them if they so wish.
1.1 What is a cookie?
A cookie is a file that is stored on the User’s computer, smartphone or any other type of device with information about browsing. The set of cookies helps to improve the quality of the website, as it makes it possible to monitor which pages are useful, which are not and which can be improved. 1.2. What types of cookies are there?
Depending on the entity that manages them:
First-party cookies: these are those that are sent to the User’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the COAC and from which the service is provided or the information requested by the User is provided.
Third-party cookies: these are those that are sent to the User’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the COAC, but by another company.
Depending on the entity that manages them:Own cookies: these are those that are sent to the User’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the COAC and from which the service is provided or the information requested by the User is provided.Third-party cookies: these are those that are sent to the User’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the COAC, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies (social networks, search engines, etc.). In the event that the cookies are installed from a computer or domain managed by the COAC, but the information collected through these is managed by a third party, they cannot be considered to be cookies.
Depending on the length of time they remain active:
Session cookies: these are a type of cookie designed to request and store data while the User accesses a website. They are usually used to store information that only needs to be kept for the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion. In the long run, these cookies make it possible to provide a better experience by improving the content and facilitating the use of the website in question.
Persistent cookies: these are a type of cookie in which the data remains stored in the terminal, which the party responsible for the cookie can access and process for a defined period of time.
According to their purpose:
Technical Cookies: these are those that allow the User to browse through a website, platform or application and use the different options or services therein, such as, for example, controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session or accessing restricted areas.
Personalisation cookies: these are cookies that allow the User to access the service with certain predefined general characteristics depending on a series of criteria in the User’s terminal, such as the language, the type of browser used to access the service, the regional configuration from which the service is accessed, etc.
Analysis cookies: these are cookies that allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the Users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookies is used to measure the activity of the website, application or platform and for the elaboration of browsing profiles of the Users of these sites, applications and platforms, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the usage data of the Users of the service.
Advertising cookies: these enable the most effective possible management of the advertising spaces that the COAC may have included on the website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided, according to criteria such as the content edited or the frequency with which the advertisements are shown.
Behavioural advertising cookies: these are cookies that enable the management, in the most effective way possible, of the advertising spaces that, where applicable, the COAC has included on a website, application or platform from which it provides the requested service. These cookies store information on the behaviour of Users obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, which enables a specific profile to be developed in order to display advertising based on the same.
