A new stage with maturity and diversity

The new stage is approached with maturity, energy, and responsibility, aiming to continue consolidating AuS’s role as a reference in sustainable architecture and as an active voice within COAC and the profession as a whole.
The Board is composed of ten members with diverse and complementary profiles—coming from the professional, academic, cooperative, and institutional fields—who share a deep commitment to sustainability, sector decarbonization, and the improvement of people’s quality of life through architecture.
The composition reflects the intention to combine experience with fresh perspectives, with cross-cutting representation in generational, gender, and professional practice terms. This diversity is key to addressing current and future challenges with a collective and enriching vision.
Objectives

The new mandate focuses on three main areas:
Advocacy: strengthening AuS’s presence in key debates that shape the future of the sector.
Dissemination and communication: raising awareness among architects, institutions, and the public about the urgent need to transform how we build and inhabit.
Training: providing tools and knowledge to promote a model of regenerative architecture, culturally rooted and respectful of the planet.
We believe that architecture plays a decisive role in the transformation toward a fairer and more sustainable society, and that only by working in networks can we be part of the solution.
The Board takes on this new cycle with the intention of becoming a catalyst for change within the sector and of counting on the active involvement of its members to collectively build the 2026 action plan.
