AuS ARCHITECTS

We are a community of professionals connected to architecture and urban planning who share a critical vision and a commitment to our environment.

As a group within the COAC, AuS is a space for meeting, reflection, and action for those who want to transform architecture through sustainability and social responsibility.

BOARD MEMBERS

Greta Tresserra

President

Architect (ETSAV, 2007) specialized in urban sustainability, with international experience in organizations such as UN-Habitat. Professor at global universities and board member of the COAC for Sustainability and Innovation.

Jade Serra

Vice President

Architect (ETSAB, 2009) specialized in efficient and healthy construction. Co-founder of Slow Studio, she manages projects and leads research on architecture with zero ecological impact. Educated at ETSAB and TKK Helsinki, with master’s degrees from La Salle and IEB.

Albert Sagrera

Vice President

Architect (ETSAB, 1998), founding partner of the cooperative Sociedad Orgánica in 2004. Currently works as an environmental consultant promoting architecture with a circular economy approach, closing material loops and efficiently managing energy and resources. Previously collaborated with ITeC (1995–2003) in Environment and Construction research.

Sonia Hernández

Secretary

Architect (ETSAB) with over twelve years of experience in healthy architecture, founder of Arquitectura Sana. Academic profile (postgraduate director and tutor for the Master in Bioconstruction) with experience creating spaces that promote comfort and health. Advisor to public and private organizations on health-related criteria in architecture.

Toni Escudé

Treasurer

Architect from ETSAB specialized in sustainable and healthy architecture, with advanced training in Baubiology and energy management. Certified in VERDE, DGNB, BREEAM, and Passivhaus.

Àngels Castellarnau

Member

Architect (ETSAV, 2003) specialized in earthen architecture and construction techniques using natural, low-impact materials. Founder of Edra Arquitectura km0, she promotes a practice rooted in the territory that fosters a decarbonized, sustainable, and regenerative architecture. Educated in Catalonia, she combines design, research, consultancy, and knowledge transfer.

Bea de Diego

Member

Architect (ETSAB) and sustainability consultant. Promoting a holistic vision of sustainability in which, beyond climate change mitigation and adaptation, the protection of biodiversity, sustainable management of water and soil, planetary health, and a just transition also take center stage. Since 2020, she has been a member of Green Building Council España (GBCe).

Sander Laudy

Member

Architect (TU Delft NL – 1999), he has worked with Roser Amadó and Lluís Domènech since 2000 at the B01 arquitectes studio, where he is currently director. He has received awards for the Green Energy Plant in Olot and for the energy retrofit of Vichy Catalan’s headquarters in Barcelona. He has taught at universities and academies in Spain and Italy, and since 2025 he has served as treasurer of GBC Spain.

Marta Galisteo

Member

Architect (ETSAV), Master in Sustainable Intervention in the Built Environment, and PhD candidate in Architecture, Energy, and Environment (UPC). She develops and coordinates projects on energy renovation and decarbonization of the building stock, urban regeneration, and citizen-driven energy transition at the cooperative Cíclica [space·community·ecology].

Licinio Alfaro

Member

Architect (ETSAV, 2005). Master’s in Architecture, Energy and Climate. Co-director of the Postgraduate Program in Digital Sustainability. Head of the Sustainability and Efficiency Department at ITeC. Founder of Taller d’Arquitectura Ambiental (2006). President of the IBPSA Spain Chapter. Advisor to public and private entities on sustainability analysis.
